Manhattan after BAK

Alyssa and Annaliese. Aren't cousins grand!!!! Alyssa stayed in Manhattan this summer to work. We met don there a day early due to Annaliese not feeling well. Alyssa took Don, Annaliese, Grandma B and I on a tour around campus. We spent the night at Hampton Inn . The next morning Don and Annaliese headed back to Kentucky. Mom and I headed back to Harper stopping off in Wichita to eat lunch with Melinda. Fun times!!

Happy "UN" Birthday Annaliese

Annaliese wanted to have her birthday at our house. She doesn't like cake so we had to be a little inventive. We made a donut cake. We let her pick out what she wanted for dinner too.

We only got to go swimming a couple of times due to rainy weather. She did get to go play with Abbey and Natalie one day and see some horses. We also saw a movie and got to see Seth play basketball.

Bush Boys Bike across Kansas

Here is the Bush Bunch...Gary, Don, Marc, Dad, Rod, Mom and Sue. I can't remember the last time we were all together for a family picture.

Don came to Harper to meet the guys to ride in the BAK. Analiese wanted to come and stay with us while her dad was on the bike ride. We were very excited about her visit.

I drove up to Manhattan to take Alyssa and friends out for her birthday supper. We ate at a great Italian place. After that we walked to Cold Stone and bought a birthday cake. The cake was scrumptious. Then the girls went out on the town and ended up getting free Country Stampede tickets. What a way to end a birthday!! (Yes, I was invited to go out on the town but opted out.)

Seth's Spring Concert

Seth's spring concert was a lot of fun. As you can see the children had to dress as a Disney character. The kids sang a variety of Disney songs. Isn't that a great Captain Hook? aka Seth

2007 Spring Games in Manhattan

Alyssa invited us up the the spring games. Seth and I decided to venture up to Manhattan to see what the sping games were all about. Seth had a blast getting to meet K-State players. We also got to see a baseball game and a football game. Seth was extremely excited when he was able to go down on the football field for autographs.
